I want you to know that my wife Carol and I talked with Doctor Farooq Patter today about your organization. She is going to contact the pastor of our First United Methodist Church, and put him in touch with Dr. Patter.

What you are doing is so important in this battered world where it seems that the voice of evil holds too much sway over the truth. All of us need to be educated and interfaith meetings and discussions are the way to understanding and moderation.

We firmly believe that those responsible for 9/11 had nothing to do with the spirit of Islam. They were misguided people who thought that by killing innocents they could rid the world of evil, but they succeeded only in promoting it.

We look forward to the day that we can attend a mosque and sit alongside one of our human brethen and talk about our similarities rather than our differences.
